Introduction & Architecture
Data sovereignty philosophy and native Rust performance behind CATable.
Why CATable?
Modern database tools have largely devolved into memory-hungry Electron or JVM wrappers. They hog gigabytes of RAM, stutter when scrolling tables, and phone home with connection schemas.
CATable was built on three uncompromising pillars:
- Direct Native Drivers: Talks directly to database wire protocols without JDBC bloat.
- Zero-Knowledge Security: Credentials secured with SQLCipher 4 and Argon2id locally.
- Production Resilience: Blast-Radius Shield simulates mutation impact before committing.
